ABOUT MASTER HOLLY HOLT...
Holly Holt serves as the Head Teacher at Golden Hands, where she brings a deep love for martial arts, music, and mentorship into every class. As the only woman to earn National Grand Champion titles across all Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Association events, and with years of experience coaching students to national success, she remains a dedicated student of the arts herself. With a Bachelor's of Music in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of North Texas and a long-standing role as Program Director, Youth Program Director, and Head Black Belt Instructor at Aim & Focus Karate, Holly's path has been shaped by community, discipline, and heart. Golden Hands is her vision come to life—a space rooted in excellence, empowerment, and connection, where students of all ages can grow in strength, confidence, and spirit.
Study traditional korean martial arts following the reputable legacy and local Austin-school, Aim & Focus Karate. Golden Hands is part of the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan. We offer a unique approach to self-defense as well as body control and awareness. Tang Soo Do is a martial art focusing on strengthening the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of us. We offer a beginners class, intermediate and advanced class.
Also known as "earthing" or "mind-boxing," Yi Chuan is an ancient martial arts system focused on healing the mind and body. Utilizing slow, flowing movements and strengthening meditations we realign the body and mind. One is certain to leave the class feeling restored.
A class for women that is both a workout as well as a safe space to discuss awareness and adult protection. You'll be sure to get a sweat in as well as learn practical self-defense.
Golden Hands will be used as a space to host live music events and gatherings to build community. Whether it be professional musicians throughout Austin, or our very own student recitals...the frequencies will be beautiful within Golden Hands!
